Rev. Kristin PowellThe Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that Rev. Kristin Powell will become our Lead Minister! Rev. Kristin's first Sunday will be on Easter, April 16, when she will join with Rev. Denese to present the service.
Rev. Kristin served as senior minister at Unity of Columbia in Missouri for 7.5 years and was previously a supervisor in Silent Unity’s telephone ministry. She holds an M.Ed. in Education from Loyola University and a BA in Speech Communication from Miami University in Ohio. In her alternative ministry Unity Rising, Rev. Kristin has guided wilderness fasts, nature retreats and spiritual trips around the world.

What are Rev. Sheila’s plans? Rev. Sheila will complete the Field Licensing Program on March 16, 2017, and will be ordained that night at Unity Village. At the end of March, she is moving to Houston, TX. She does not wish to be a Senior Minister and is currently exploring employment possibilities throughout the Unity movement as an Associate Minister. She will continue traveling, speaking, conducting workshops, and promoting her latest book, The Long Journey Home. A celebration of Sheila will be held in the CommUnity Room on March 25 from 3:00-5:00 pm. Come by to say good bye and good luck!
