Super Bowl LII Fun

Touchdown! Share the fun of the big game at Javier’s house. Nosh on Javier’s famous bar-b-cue and much more. This will be way more fun than tailgating or attending the game in Minneapolis in February!

Pot Your Own Succulent Arrangement

Join others for a creative afternoon with great plants! Select an assortment of succulent cuttings and arrange them in a pot that you take home and enjoy. Provided: succulents, potting soil, pots, tools, and guidance. Plus refreshments and nibbles. At Eileen's home in Pleasant Hill, just 10 minutes drive from Unity. Depending on the weather, we'll be either outside or in the garage.

Spring Wildflower Hike on Mt. Diablo

Start at a beautiful creekside shelter with coffee, tea and Tyler's homemade pastries  , and then explore one of the lesser known trails on the mountain. A trained naturalist, Tyler will open your eyes to the complex beauty of our area. This trail is a real gem of Mt. Diablo State Park and passes through many distinct biotic zones.  It takes place in mid-April when the wildflowers should be at their peak. We will experience a great deal of beauty, learn an ecological view of the relationship between plants, animals and geology, as well as explore some of the plant uses of the Native Americans. The approximately three-hour hike features moderate up and downhill portions and one short, very steep partKids welcome if they can hike for three hours.

Spring is Popping Out All Over Karaoke Extravaganza!

Come join us for an evening of music. Participation in singing is optional; having fun is mandatory! Karaoke performances from our library of over 2500 songs. Be a star! We'll also have live musicians you can sing to. Bring your own karaoke favorites on CD or USB. Or just sit back and enjoy the show! Dancing is encouraged. (No children please!) Salad bar dinner and drinks are included.

It's a Mange Evening as an Eight-Course Italian Dinner

All you need to bring is yourself and your appetite! Start with wine and conversation, Insalata Caprese and Capelle di Funghi Ripiene. Then how about some fresh baked focaccia, Minstrone soup, Gaberetto and Manzo brochettes and risotto Milan style. And for the finale: Zucatto and Torte di Ricotta. Good Italian wines and other beverages complete the Degustation!

Point Reyes "Bugling" Elk Adventure

We’ll leave early in the a.m. in a provided van to Pt. Reyes National Seashore for a very full day's adventure! Tule elk, once near extinction, wander the land with candlelabra-like anterls, buglin their harem. We’ll walk .4 mile on a slope down to a gem of a beach for yoga, meditation, exploration, and a provided picnic lunch.
